Who am I?
I’m Darren Green, and up until I was 34 my life was moulded by what I saw around me. I did ok at school, went on to University and built a reasonable career. But when I became a father in 2016, I realised for the first time that the life I saw around me didn’t fit with the life I really wanted.
It was then that my wife Gill and I realised our purpose was to maximise the time we had together as a family but we also wanted to provide us an opportunity to travel and enjoy life, not just ‘get by’.
We recognised we needed to reduce our dependency on our full-time corporate jobs to create more time together as a family and we used property investment as the vehicle to do that, creating a 7-figure property portfolio from scratch since 2017 despite having NO savings.
